Witness a lesson begin
History written
Her children feel safe
The SUV's mass distorts
Their view of the world
Each honk is a cry
Of pride, defiance, success
Or folly perhaps
That generation
Cocooned in complacency
Will face Nature's wrath
Cornucopia
SUVs its modern guise
A poisoned chalice
Only with great pain
Will that lesson be unlearned
A world's rage teaching
