The following haikus were written on the theme of traffic noise pollution in Madrid, Spain, by students in my Advanced English class.
drivers honking horns
neighbours playing noisy songs
everyone angry

buses and tourists
be aware of the neighbours
or please go away

if you dump your car
you'll be richer and calmer
and the earth, cleaner

go on, go on, honk
til your car exhauts itself
then shout on your own
